Cornicello 2020 Sangiovese honors the ancient origins of the storied wines of Tuscany. Harvested from Luna Matta vineyard at an altitude of 1600 feet in Paso Robles, California, this varietal is the result of 18-month aging in neutral French oak Certified organic CCOF, native fermentation. On the palate, this vintage is generous,with flavors of red currant, tart cherry all bracketed by ripe dusty tannins and softly integrated berry acidity, which carry the flavors through a long, elegant, beautifully bitter finish that begs you to take another sip.
